Cushman & Wakefield wins in two categories at ThePrime Real Estate Awards 2024: Best Leasing Agency & Best Capital Markets Agency

In the second year of the ThePrime Real Estate Awards, presented on 25 January 2024, Cushman & Wakefield was recognized as the No. 1 agency in two categories: Best Leasing Agency and Best Capital Markets Agency.

Best Leasing Agency

In this category, the work of Cushman & Wakefield’s Office, Industrial and Retail Leasing teams was awarded. The Office team achieved the highest market share of 32% last year, securing the lease of nearly 124,000 sq m. The Industrial team participated in 25 key transactions and in the sale of 750,000 sq m of land last year. The Retail team secured the lease of 75,000 sq m in 150+ transactions last year.

Best Capital Markets Agency

In 2023, the Cushman & Wakefield Capital Markets team assisted with seven transactions across the market segments, totalling EUR 481 million. The most significant include the sale of the TREI portfolio (supermarkets, retail parks and development sites), the Atrium Palác Pardubice shopping centre or Rohan Business Center in Prague.

About ThePrime Real Estate Gala

The awards ceremony took place at the second year of ThePrime Real Estate Gala on 25 January 2024 at the Žofín Palace, Prague, with 430 key representatives of the Czech real estate market attending. The awards were presented to the best real estate projects of 2023 in nine categories, where sustainability, ESG principles and community support played a decisive role. The gala also supported Rozum a Cit, z. s., a non-profit organization that assists foster children and their families.
